History shows that Thomas Hardy first blended grapes from multiple regions in 1865. He believed that by doing so it would complement and enhance the qualities of each region. So began Hardys blending heritage, with each new blend a unique code was created starting from A001.
The Yarra Valley fruit brings strawberry and plum richness. blended with the Tasmanian fruit that provides fragrant, spicy red fruits, star anise and dark cherries to this complex blend. The oak is subtle and as per all find Pinot Noirs, one is intrigued by the myriad of juicy sweet and spiced fruit flavours and above all, the wines long and delicious palate.
